  • Prazopress XL 5 Tablet is an alpha-blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body.
    • PRAZOPRESS XL 5MG contains Prazosin Hydrochloride
    • It works by relaxing the main blood vessels of the heart, allowing the heart to pump blood more easily and thus lowers the pressure
    • It also relaxes the muscle around the bladder and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily

Description

Prazopress XL 2.5 mg Tablet XL is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement). This medicine should be used with caution since it may cause temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressure (syncope). It is not recommended for use in patients under 12 years of age.
