Eye formulations of Neosporin-H Ointment 5 gm effectively treat bacterial infections of the external eye, uveitis (inflammation of the middle layer of the eye (uvea)), eye injury, radiation, chemical burns. Bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria grow in the body and causes illness. Neosporin-H Ointment 5 gm will not work for infections caused by fungi and viruses.
