Livogen-XT Tablet 10’s

Livogen-XT Tablet 10’s is a combination medication, belongs to the class of drugs called ‘hematinic’  primarily used to prevent and treat the low levels of folic acid, zinc, and iron in blood during certain health conditions (e.g., anaemia, pregnancy, low diet, surgery recovery).  Anemia is a health condition that happens when the body has a lower amount of red blood cells or haemoglobin than normal haemoglobin (iron-rich the protein responsible for allowing red blood cells to carry more oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body).  During pregnancy, the body needs more zinc, iron ad folic acid and lack of these components, leading to anaemia in either the mother or baby.
