CANESTEN VAGINAL CREAM 30G is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and other fungal skin infections. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (flaking or scaling of the skin). CANESTEN VAGINAL CREAM 30G works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. CANESTEN VAGINAL CREAM 30G destroys the infection by allowing the holes to open in the cell membrane and the components to leak out. This kills the fungus and cures the infection.
